Monetizing Moments

Revolution To Retail

Extending NYC restaurant Fraunces Tavern’s history and branding through merch.

The work

For CheatDayEats, a food influencer known for vibrant, indulgent content, I introduced a print-on-demand model to launch a collection that played off of the influencer’s fun and indulgent food content. We collaborated to design a collection of food-themed apparel that leaned into their restaurant partnership with a local staple like Elm Diner, celebrated for their sweet desserts, and launched it on HYPER iCONiC’s pop culture retail site. I helped handle product design, marketing and fulfillment, and ensuring a seamless experience for both the influencer and their followers.

Similarly, I worked with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Drew Sidora to develop a merch line that captured her iconic sayings from the show’s viral moments. The collection featured hoodies and shirts with quotes like “she invited me and then she uninvited me,” which fans instantly recognized from her interactions with fellow cast members. Drew’s Instagram announcement of the line generated significant buzz, as fans were excited to wear her most memorable catchphrases. By capitalizing on these moments, Drew Sidora turned her on-screen drama into a profitable merch venture.

Both projects required careful attention to brand voice and fan engagement, ensuring that the merchandise was both stylish and true to the personalities behind them. Through collaboration and strategic execution, I helped bring these unique collections to life, driving both engagement and sales.

With Fraunces Tavern, an iconic New York City restaurant with deep historical roots, I helped translate their storied brand and implemented it into an online and on-site merchandise line. By incorporating their famous logo and a nod to their heritage, I created a collection that appeals to both tourists and locals alike, further connecting their history with modern audiences.

For Angelwreaths, a brand known for its holiday feather decor, I migrated them from Magento to Shopify, updated their brand aesthetic and logo, and expanded their product offerings beyond holiday-specific items. This repositioned them as a year-round retailer in the home goods market, ensuring ongoing relevance and growth beyond the holiday season.

Each project brought together my expertise in Shopify development & tech stack, eCommerce and marketing strategy, and creative design & storytelling, resulting in engaging and profitable merchandise solutions for my clients.
